Pakistan Day Civil Awards Ceremony at Aiwan-e-Sadr | Voice of Nation

President Dr. Arif Alvi on Tuesday conferred civil awards on 88 Pakistani and foreign nationals in recognition of their services in different fields during a ceremony at Aiwan-i-Sadr.

The awards included six Nishan-i-Imtiaz, three Hilal-i-Imtiaz, 24 Sitara-i-Shuja’at, eight Sitara-i-Imtiaz, 14 President’s Award for Pride of Performance, one Sitara-i-Quaid-i-Azam, one Sitara-i-Khidmat, one Tamgha-i-Pakistan, 22 Tamgha-i-Shuja’at, and eight Tamgha-i-Imtiaz.

Among the personalities who received the Nishan-i-Imtiaz were Sadeqain Naqvi (Art), Abida Parveen (Singing), and Ahmad Faraz (Literature), while Bushra Ansari (Arts), Syed Farooq Qaiser (Arts), and Sultana Siddiqi (Arts) received the Sitara-i-Imtiaz.

The President’s Award for Pride of Performance was conferred on Maulana Tariq Jameel (Religious scholar), Mohammed Ali Shehki (Singing), Resham (Acting), Humayun Saeed (Acting), and Ali Zafar (Singing), among others.

Zeba Shehnaz (Acting) and Faisal Edhi (Public Service) along with others were bestowed with the Tamgha-i-Imtiaz.
